Alpaca is a delicate natural fiber and should be cared for gently to preserve its softness, shape, and appearance.
We recommend professional dry cleaning or gentle hand washing in cool water. If hand washing, use a small amount of mild detergent suitable for wool or delicate natural fibers. Gently soak without rubbing, scrubbing, or agitating. Do not twist or wring.
Carefully press out excess water, reshape the item, and lay flat to air dry. Do not hang while wet.
Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Avoid hot water, bleach, fabric softener, and direct heat.
Wash only when necessary. Between cleanings, airing the item and gently spot cleaning can help keep alpaca fiber fresh while reducing unnecessary wear.
