Enjoy watching quilts being made from our alpaca fiber that you can find at our Magical Strands Boutique. You may fall in love with our Alpacas and decide you would like a few of your own. Charming Master Bedroom: 2 Guests, 1 Bedroom unit (1 queen bed with 1 Private Bath)
Our spacious master bedroom with private ensuite bath is located near the front door so guests will have a private entrance. Visitors can use the backyard which has a pretty setting overlooking a large pond with a picturesque waterfall, extensive lawn, mature trees with views of the sunset, cascade mountains, and the alpacas frolicking in the pastures. The paver patio has picnic tables, a swing and extra seating. End your day on our large patio overlooking 134 acres of beautiful green pastures in a park-like setting with views of several mountain ranges. Everything you will need for your next romantic getaway in Oregon. There is limited wi-fi and cellular service available.
Your visit will be captivated with a tour of a working ranch with baby & nose kissing alpacas, plus a relaxing patio for enjoying the scenic sunsets. There are lots of lovely walks right from the doorstep, and the beautiful surroundings ensure that you have all the makings for a relaxing, enjoyable break.
Drive to Bend, or visit the quaint town of Sisters. You can saddle up a horse at Smith Rock or hike around our state park, go mountain climbing, ride bikes across scenic areas, fly fish, canoeing, or visit Mt. Bachelor for skiing & sled dog rides. All our seasons have truly a rare beauty!
Magical Strands Boutique and Fiber Workshops

From our magnificent alpaca fiber, we create luscious, soft yarn, woven garments, blankets, and alpaca fiber-filled quilts, bringing to you some of the finest products in the North-West. All aspects of our ranch are made in America. We often have classes and workshops for those interested in the Fiber Arts. We use our alpaca fiber to create wonderful items, whether felted or knitted.

Activities and Excursions near our Oregon Ranch

Central Oregon has plenty of activities no matter what the season: winter, spring, summer, or fall . For those who enjoy horseback riding, you can saddle up a quarter horse at Smith Rock Trail Ride. Take a leisurely ride across the meadows, through forests, across creeks, and past soothing ponds. Bring your mountain bike and your hiking boots for some more adventures at our state park. Drive to Bend and check out the High Desert Museum , the Newberry Crater at Newberry National Volcanic Monument, or visit the quaint town of Sisters. View some of our natural wonders like nearby Tumalo Falls, or try your hand at fly fishing, canoeing or golfing. Winter visitors will love Mt. Bachelor, for sleigh rides, skiing or sled dog rides.
