Our first book,

Baby Alpaca's Adventure,

is now available

in our ranch boutique!

Baby Alpaca's Adventure is an adorable book inspired by the animals and workers at Alpaca Country Estates ranch in Terrebonne, Oregon.  A warm adventure story filled with educational facts about our loveable “teddy bear” faced critters.

Readers can meet the people and animals on the ranch by reading the book - or they can read and come out to our ranch to have an adventure of their own!

It was written by local author Ann Rivera, while visiting our pastures.  The bright, sensational illustrations were done by Liz Brizzi.  A Spanish version, interpreted by Rocio Herman, will be available later in the year.

Overview: A baby alpaca wanders away from the nursery to explore the ranch and search for his true purpose. During his grand adventure he discovers a nose-kissing alpaca, a friendly hen, and a spunky one-eared mouse. His new friends teach him all about alpacas and ranch life in Oregon, and help him find his way back home to his mama

We are excited to announce that KVR's PERUVIAN TRUE EYE CANDY ~ "IKE" is now a standing stud at Alpaca Country Estates!  Thank you Linda Bat (Delphi Alpacas) for entrusting us with this wonderful guy!  We are thrilled to have such an outstanding stud join our grey breeding program!

Four New "Glamping" Options Coming Summer 2020:

For guests who feel a little more adventurous, Alpaca Country Estates will be offering four new "glamping" options in Summer 2020.   A tipi (also spelled tepee and teepee) is a conical canvas structure used by the Native Americans, and a traditional yurt is a portable, round tent used as a dwelling by several distinct nomadic groups in the steppes of Central Asia.  Choose from our Dances with Wolves Tipi, Indian Ponies Tipi, Roaming Buffalo Tipi or our Yurt.  Our cozy and authentic tipis are approximately 20-feet wide, built on a solid wood platform, and can accommodate up to four guests for an authentic and unforgettable glamping experience.  ACE glamping options offer adventures for spring, summer, and autumn camping.  Of course the best and most wonderful thing about staying in any of these unique options is the experience in itself - fresh air, camaraderie, starry skies, simple living and the great joy of being at one with the natural world.  There are lots of lovely walks right from the doorstep, and the beautiful surroundings ensure that you have all the makings for a relaxing, enjoyable break.
