Patagonia’s Chilkoot is a compact herdsire with long staple length, fine fleece, and bright, luscious fiber. He has a beautiful head and compact body. In 2014, Chilkoot was assessed by Senior Judge, Amanda VandenBosch as an “A-“. He has consistency in micron as well as in color, large bones, and a gentle temperament.
Chilkoot’s sire is Patagonia’s Lennox, the ultimate Multi-Champion herdsire. His dam, Patagonia’s Augusta, is a top-line production dam on our ranch. Augusta is a 3x Color Champion and received Reserve Champion at AOBA. Augusta also won 6 blues ribbons in her show career (one being at The Futurity).
Chilkoot's Progeny are Champs!
Chilkoot’s crias started hitting the ground in 2015 and bringing home Blue Ribbons in 2016! We are especially excited about one of Chilkoot’s oldest sons, Estates Sakima, a true black 6x champion and numerous blue-ribbon winner who has been instrumental on our 2016-2018 black show strings. His 2017 Daughter, Bluebonnet Hills Terrebonne is a 2x champion with multiple blues. His 2018 daughter, Mauna Lani won the Color Championship at the California Classic along with several blues on our 2018 show string! True black son, Akiak is also a multiple blue-ribbon winner!

Andean’s Pegasus of Country Estates is our superb brown male whose first crias hit our show string in 2015. Pegasus has passed along brightness, fineness, & density to each cria that has hit the ground so far. His offspring have been awarded Color Championships, Reserve Championships and multiple Blue Ribbons, are key members of our show strings!
Pegasus has genetics from PPeruvian Caligula, 4Peruvian Andean Gold, & Snowmass Andean Bronze, & his sire, the stunning TB Snowmass Andean Midnight. His Sire is our own Snowmass Andean Midnight a beautiful, compact, true black “silky soft” male with an outstanding pedigree for fineness. His fiber is incredibly soft and shiny with a silky look and feel. It has a uniform low amplitude high frequency style of crimp. You have to see it to believe it!

Pegasus received blues in 2011, 2012 and 2013. He won Color Championship at the IAO 2012 and 2013!

At TxOLAN 2015, Judges Amanda VandenBosch & Arturo Pena awarded Pegasus Get of Sire, 2nd Place in a class with white Get of Sires. Karen and Hugo say that they believe Antonio is the first Lennox son that is more exceptional than his sire in every way. The best Lennox son ever produced!
His fleece was awarded a Blue ribbon at the 2015 AOA National Fleece show with his 58-month-old fleece. We love this boy!

Estates Antonio Miguel was a key member of our 2017-2019 show strings, earning 6 championship banners. He received the Brown Male Color Champion banner and Blue ribbon at the Alpaca Breeder's Invitational 2017; Reserve Color Champion and 2nd Place at Western Alpaca Challenge; Brown Male Color Champion banner and Blue ribbon at the 2018 Southern Select Alpaca Show; another Color Championship banner and blue ribbon at the 2018 California Classic Round Up; a blue ribbon at the 2018 Alpacapalooza; and a 2nd Place ribbon at the 2018 AOA National Show. He went on to win the Color Championship at the 2019 CABO and Reserve Championship at the 2019 AOA Nationals!
At the 2019 Carolina Alpaca Celebration, Judge Amanda VandenBosch had this to say, "The champion here at 29 months of age, just shy of 30 months. When you look at this male, he really has excellent style and type to him. Good substance of bone underneath him. He’s very upright.
