Meet Jeanine:

My name is Jeanine Faith and I am a certified yoga teacher and dedicated yogini. I started meditating when I was 19, after feeling disillusioned by religion and church. The first yoga program I completed was with Self Realization Fellowship. This course introduced me to Paramahansa Yogananda's "Kriya Yoga" and is the foundation of my yoga education.

Next I studied "Synergy Yoga" in Encinitas California for my hatha certification. This style of yoga is a serious physical challenge with a strong standing sequence & done in a heated environment.

After years of teaching a very athletic style of yoga I came upon kundalini yoga. This was a big shift. Kundalini touched me emotionally and I knew right away this was what I had been looking for. I studied a beginning kundalini course with Nirvair Singh Khalsa but knew I needed to go deeper.

I wanted to really integrate the information so I spent 40 days in each chakra using kundalini kriyas to clear and balance each energy center. This was a life changing journey, and the basis for my present approach to yoga.

Ultimately my primary interest is in silence, and using all forms of hatha yoga to return to the quiet within. It is not how you look on the outside that determines your practice, but how you feel on the inside.

I encourage you to give Helpful Hatha a try, if you are new to yoga, or if your practice has been missing something. My pug "Emma" and I would love to have you in our yoga family!

On September 16, 2018, our guest instructor will be Halle Franklin, R.N.

When:  9:30 to 10:30 am or 9:30 am to 11:30 am- Class & Tour Option

Meet Halle:

Hi, my name is Halle Franklin.  I am a full time traveling nurse blogging about my adventures!  I have a huge passion for exploring, adventuring, and discovering what the world has to offer.

I have a love for yoga and have been an avid practitioner for 4 years and have even taught goat yoga in Nashville.  Alpaca yoga is obviously the next sensation!

My blog is Dream Big Travel Wide.

And my mission is:

  • To live as big as you dream

  • To live mindfully, intentionally and generously.

  • To value the importance of authenticity, gratitude, and kindness.

  • To cultivate our adventurous souls and welcome the evolution into the greatest version of ourselves.

  • To recognize the influence of our experiences and utilizing them to enhance our knowledge isn’t enough, as we are destined to live beyond ourselves.

  • But rather we share our newfound wisdom to others, so they too can live as big as they dream.

I incorporate this mission into my everyday life and hope to spread the love to those around me.

I can’t wait for you to see you on the mat!
